Visas for the United Kingdom: Service Supplier Visa
Since December 31st, 2020, the United Kingdom is no longer part of the European Union. This has resulted in impactful changes to the free movement of people from Europe that were in effect until that date.
Initially, for continuous stays of less than 90 days and activities related to tourism and business (visiting clients or suppliers, attending fairs or congresses, etc.), no visa is required.
For any other activity or continuous stays exceeding the aforementioned 90 days, Spaniards will need to apply for a visa.

What you need to know:
This is the visa that must be applied for if you have a service provision contract with a British company as an employee of a foreign company or self-employed. A sponsor is required.

Duration of the visa.
By duration of the visa, we mean the period during which the visa is valid and therefore can be used for travel.
The duration of this visa can be requested for six or twelve months depending on the contract.

The maximum continuous stay duration is 6 or 12 months, depending on the duration of the visa.

Can it be extended?
It can be extended if:
- The contract continues.
- The total maximum time has not been reached.
- The work, qualification, and experience continue to meet the requirements.

Processing time
By processing time, we mean the time it takes the UK government to process a Visitor Visa.
Once the application, including identity proof and documents, is completed, a response will be received within 3 weeks (8 if done from the UK).

The official fee charged by the UK government’s Immigration Department is €310.
