This is the visa that must be applied for in order to hold business meetings in China or provide technical assistance. The visas currently granted at the Chinese Consulate in Spain are for 90 days, single-entry, and a maximum stay of 60 days. This aspect must be reflected in the invitation letter from the Chinese company.

Duration of the visa:

In principle, business and/or technical assistance visas can be requested for three (3) to six (6) months and up to 1 year from the time of issuance with one, two, or multiple entries. If you have been to China twice for business, you can apply for a visa of up to one year with multiple entries.

Processing time:

The consular processing time is the time it takes the consulate to process the visa from the time we deliver the passport. There is a standard period of one week. Then there is an urgent period of 4 days, each with a different fee.

Due to COVID and until further notice, the processing time is 3-4 weeks from the date of the consular presentation appointment, as they only work one day a week and by appointment only.
