Spanish citizens do not require a visa to enter the United Kingdom when the object of the visit is business or tourism. Since 31 December 2020, due to Brexit, when travel is for work purposes, it is now necessary to apply for a work visa. However, there are some exceptions whereby work can be carried out with a visitors’ visa.

The choice of visa will depend on a number of factors such as:

  • The type of activity to be carried out
  • If the person is going to be contracted by a British Company or be working based on their original contract.
  • The length of stay in the country.
  • The level of study.
